Mark Goldberg, Senior Counsel
Biography
Mark’s has been a patent attorney for over 35 years. Mark has handled patent preparation and prosecution in a wide variety of technology. As a patent practitioner and chemist, Mark has used his technical knowledge and expertise to work with inventors and engineers to developed the most patentable invention.
Before joining Paschall & Associates, LLC, Mark served as Senior Patent Counsel for Honeywell UOP in Des Plaines, Illinois for 17 years. Mark managed a docket of over 1000 active patents and applications. In addition, he drafted patent applications as well as supervised preparation of patent applications by outside counsel. He has experience training foreign patent specialists in oil refining and natural gas processing.
Professional Experience
Prior to working in-house for Honeywell, Mark worked for six years at Alliant Techsystems in Hopkins, Minnesota. Alliant (now owned by Northrup-Grumman) is a leading supplier of rocket motors and military products. Mark managed Alliant’s patent program as well as a major patent infringement litigation and was heavily involved in licensing and trademark work. He previously worked as a patent attorney for six years at Hercules Incorporated (now owned by Ashland Inc.) in Wilmington, Delaware and as a patent attorney for the U.S. Army at research laboratories in Massachusetts.
