Joseph Fuchs - Senior Counsel
Biography
Joe has represented clients for more than 30 years in matters related to patents, trademarks, copyrights, and trade secrets law. He has experience in enforcing and defending patents in federal courts and in adversarial proceedings in patent offices throughout the world. Joe is adept at constructing competitive analyses of patents, rendering freedom-to-operate opinions, evaluating patentability, developing non-infringement and invalidity positions in litigation, identifying areas ripe for patenting, and conducting due diligence efforts in mergers and acquisitions. Joe employs comprehensive patent preparation strategies to maximize the value and to increase the competitive advantage of a client’s patent portfolio.
Professional Experience
Joe has worked in house and privately for multiple firms. Prior to working at Paschall and Associates, Joe worked at Greensfelder, Hemker & Gale collaborating with in-house corporate counsel of large corporations. He counseled in developing and implementing intellectual property strategies including invention disclosure procedures, patent preparation, and world-wide patent filing strategies entailing domestic, PCT, regional, and national filings. As Senior Patent Counsel at Amcor PLC Joe advised on patent issues surrounding polymer films, packaging, and polymer structures. We are excited to have Joe on our team.
